Office of the Mavor Regarding Regular Salaries, Position Number 905'1 , proposed to be reallocated from Program Admin Officer ll (page 181)to Deputy Managing Director (page 4), why is the position noted as'ORD"? Would this position need to be added to the salary-setting process effectuated by Resolution of the Salary Commission? Additionally, would the position number need to be changed from 9051 to something like "El#"? Response provided by Depariment of Human Resources: All other Counties currently have a Deputy Managing Director position and all of their positions fall under their respective Salary Commission authority. As such, since the intent of this posffion ls fo serye in the capacity as an appointed officer as defined by the Charter (Section 23.01 D.), this position would fail under Articte XXIX, Salary Commission of the Charter. Therefore, this position would need to be added to the Resolution of the Salary Commission. A Salary Resolution positions are designated "ORD" which is short for Ordinance.
