KOLOA — A woman died from injuries sustained during a traffic crash that occurred on

Seon Young Jo was the passenger of the Nissan Versa. She was transported to Wilcox
Hospital in critical condition, then medevaced to Queen's Hospital where she died on Monday.
The female driver of the Nissan, age 27 of South Korea, sustained critical injuries from
the crash. She was transported to Wilcox Hospital and then medevaced to Queen's Hospital
where she remains in critical condition.
No injuries were reported for the occupants of the bus.
Kauai police closed Ala Kinoiki Road, from Wailaau Road to Maluhia Road, for
approximately three hours while KPD's Traffic Safety Section conducted an on -scene
investigation.
The investigation of the crash remains ongoing.
