BLANE, CHIEF OF STAFF Tel (808) 241-4900 Fax (808) 241-6877 County announces holiday closures LIHU`E — In observance of Prince Kuhio Day, County of Kauai offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 26, along with all refuse transfer stations In addition, all of the neighborhood centers will be closed on the holiday. The Kapa`a swimming pool will also be closed, and will resume normal hours on Wednesday, March 27. All of the HI-5 bottle redemption centers normally open on Tuesdays will be open on Prince Kuhio Day along with the Puhi Metals Recycling Center. The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kekaha Landfill will also be open from 8 to 10:30 am for commercial businesses and the public. The Sunshine Market on Rice Street will also be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Kauai Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on the holiday. Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday, March 27.
