One -day operation results in six arrests
LIHU`E — Kaua`i police on Friday arrested six individuals and served 15 warrants during
an operation aimed at locating defendants wanted by the court.
"This single -day operation relied on detectives from the Investigative Services Bureau,
along with officers of the Patrol Services Bureau, to locate people in the Lihu`e and Kapa`a
areas who were wanted on outstanding warrants," stated Acting Chief of Police Michael
Contrades. "Our department is committed to reduce the amount of active warrants on Kauai,
and holding those responsible for breaking the law. I commend our officers for their hard work
and dedication to this ongoing mission."
The following six individuals were arrested on multiple warrants for a combined total of
$87,000 in bail.
Isaiah Pongasi-Adric, age 20 of Anahola, was arrested on warrants totaling $40,500 for
Contempt of Court, Violating Conditions of Release on Bail, Unauthorized Control of a Propelled
Vehicle, and Discharge of Sureties.
Akanahe Rapozo, age 21 of Anahola, was arrested on warrants totaling $20,000 for
Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Second Degree, Drug Paraphernalia, and Violating
Conditions of Release on Bail.
Johnathan Papagayo, age 26 of Kapa`a, was arrested on warrants totaling $10,000 for
Place to Keep Ammunition, Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle, and Promoting a
Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree.

Jessica Wada, age 31 of Lihu`e, was arrested on a $10,000 warrant for Contempt of
Clifford Henderson, age 32 of Kapa`a, was arrested on warrants for Contempt of Court,
totaling $4,500 in bail.
Tanner -James Bragalone, age 32 of Lihu`e, was arrested on warrants for Contempt of
Court, totaling $2,000 in bail.
