East Kauai Lions Club members volunteer time,
service at Vidinha Stadium on Saturday
LIHU'E — The Department of Parks and Recreation is applauding the work of 13
members of the East Kaua'i Lions Club for offering their time and service at Vidinha Stadium on
Saturday, Sept. 14.
"Mahalo to the 13 volunteers of the East Kauai Lions Club who sacrificed their time and
energy to paint the curb along Vidinha Stadium on Saturday," said Department of Parks and
Recreation Director Patrick Porter. "Because of their effort, users of the stadium will have a
safer and easier time navigating the facility."
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than
1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical
areas around the world.
