2020 GENERAL ELECTION BALLOTS
Līhu‘e, Kaua‘i – Ballots for the 2020 General Election will be mailed to voters of the
County of Kaua‘i on October 9, 2020. The majority of voters should receive a ballot within
4-5 days. Voters who have not received a ballot by October 16, 2020, should contact the
Elections Division at 241-4800.
Ballot envelopes are easily identified by their distinctive purple graphic and the Official USPS
Election Mail logo on the front of the envelope.
After voting, voters are urged to return their ballot as soon as possible by placing them in the
USPS mail or depositing them in any of the following ballot drop boxes set up in the following
locations:
• Hanalei Neighborhood Center (NC) 5-5358 Kūhiō Hwy. Hanalei, HI 96714 (*NEW*)
• Hanalei Fire Station 5-4390 Kūhiō Hwy. Princeville, HI 96722
• Kīlauea NC 2460 Keneke St. Kīlauea, HI 96754 (*NEW*)
• Kapa‘a Fire Station 4-0757 Kūhiō Hwy. Kapa‘a, HI 96746
• Elections Division 4386 Rice St. Līhu‘e, HI 96766
• Kōloa NC 3461 Weliweli Rd. Kōloa, HI 96756 (*NEW*)
• Kalāheo Fire Station 2-2480 Kaumuali‘i Hwy. Kalāheo, HI 96741
• Hanapēpē Fire Station 1-3787 Kaumuali‘i Hwy. Hanapēpē, HI 96716
• Waimea NC 4556 Makeke Rd. Waimea, HI 96796 (*NEW*)
Ballot drop boxes will be open on Monday, October 12, 2020.
Ballots can also be hand-delivered to the Elections Division, Monday through Friday from
7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On General Election Day, November 3, 2020, the office will be open from
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on General Election Day to be
counted.
