speeding, truck restriction on Ōma‘o Road
KŌLOA – The Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC., are announcing
that full closures of Maluhia Road from Sunday morning through Thursday afternoon are
scheduled to continue through Oct. 15, subject to weather and other factors.
During these closures, the signed detour route from Kōloa Town to Kaumuali‘i Highway
is on Kōloa Road and Piko Road, and the route from Kaumuali‘i Highway to Kōloa Town is on
Kōloa Road.
Ōma‘o Road is a narrow residential road that is not intended to be used as a detour
