Roll Call Director Rapozo called roll, noting 6 members were present. Approval of Agenda Ms. Akita moved to approve the agenda. Mr. Pacheco seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. Approval of Minutes APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: Open Session minutes of January 17, 2019 The following corrections were noted: Page 1: Removal of Gerald Matsunaga as excused, and addition of Paul Endo as excused. Mr. Matsunaga moved to approve the Open Session minutes of January 17, 2019 as corrected. Ms. Kusaka seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. 1. Public Hearing a) PV EATS (Retail): Application No. 2019-056 was filed on November 30, 2018 by Food Pantry, Ltd. dba PV Eats for a New Retail Dealer General license at 5-3700 Kūhi‘ō Highway, Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii. The Commission accepted Application No. 2019-056 for publication and public hearing on December 6, 2018 and ordered to print notice of public hearing in The Garden Island newspaper on Wednesdays, December 12 & 19, 2018, scheduling the public hearing on February 7, 2019 at 4:00 Liquor Control Commission Open Session February 7, 2019 Page 2 p.m. or shortly thereafter in Meeting Room #3 of the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Mo'ikeha Building, 4444 Rice Street, Līhu‘e, Kauai, Hawaii. Mr. Robert Ueoka, counsel for the applicant was present along with Ms. Brandy Pacheco, District Manager. Ms. Kusaka moved to approve Application No. 2019-056. Mr. Gibson seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. b) PV EATS (Dispenser): Application No. 2019-057 was filed on November 30, 2018 by Food Pantry, Ltd. dba PV Eats for a New Dispenser General (live entertainment and dancing) license at 5-3700 Kūhi‘ō Highway, Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii. Ms. Akita moved to accept the Transfer of Stock. Mr. Pacheco seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. 5. CHANGE IN CORPORATE OFFICERS: SEVEN-ELEVEN HAWAII, INC.: Appointment of Shinji Abe as Director Mr. Gibson moved to accept the Change In Corporate Officers. Mr. Pacheco seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. 6. TRANSFER OF LIQUOR INVENTORY: Liquor Control Commission Open Session February 7, 2019 Page 5 BAMBOO: Request permission to transfer liquor inventory, per list, from R. Ogata LLC dba Bamboo located at 3416 Rice Street, Līhu‘e, Kauai, Hawaii to R. Ogata LLC dba Bamboo Grill located at 3-5350 Kūhi‘ō Highway, Wailua, Kauai, Hawaii. Ms. Akita moved to approve the Transfer of Liquor Inventory. Mr. Pacheco seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. 7. OFF-PREMISE WAREHOUSING: AOAO OF HANALEI BAY RESORT: Request for off-premise warehousing, per diagram and letter submitted, at 5380 Honoiki Road, Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii. Mr. Gibson moved to approve the off-premise warehousing. Mr. Pacheco seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. 8. AMEND CONDITIONS ON LIQUOR LICENSE: LILIKOI BAR & GRILL: Request to amend conditions on Restaurant General License No. 2G-061 to extend kitchen hours from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and to extend bar hours from 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ms. Kusaka moved to approve to amend the Conditions on Liquor License. Mr. Gibson seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. 9. NEW LIQUOR LICENSE: a) THE MARKET AT KILAUEA: Application No. 2019-063 was filed on January 29, 2019 by The Kalama Beach Corporation dba The Market at Kīlauea for a New Retail Dealer General license at 2555 Namahana Parkway, Kīlauea, Kauai, Hawaii. Ms. Akita moved for publication and public hearing of Application No. 2019-063. Mr. Pacheco seconded the motion. Motion carried 6:0. b) THE MARKET AT KILAUEA: Application No. 2019-064 was filed on January 29, 2019 by The Kalama Beach Corporation dba The Market at Kīlauea for a New Dispenser General (Live entertainment and dancing) license at 2555 Namahana Parkway, Kīlauea, Kauai, Hawaii.
