PUBLIC HEARING NOTE: Pursuant to the Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated March
16, 2020, issued by Governor David Y. Ige, all meetings of the Liquor Control Commission will be
closed to the public consistent with social distancing practices. The public hearing will be read into
the record and testimony may be submitted in writing to czaima@kauai.gov; via facsimile to (808)
241-6545; or mailed to the Department of Liquor Control, 4444 Rice Street, Suite 120, Līhu‘e,
Hawai‘i 96766. The Liquor Control Commission will convene into a public hearing on the following
item(s) on this meeting date and will reconvene the Liquor Commission Meeting to complete any
unfinished business thereafter. [Notwithstanding this Liquor Control Commission Agenda, the
commission may hold a public hearing on any item which has been posted in advance in compliance
with the Sunshine Law.]

NOM KAUAI: Application No. 2020-078 was filed on April 16, 2020 by Nom Kauai
Corp. dba Nom Kauai for a New Restaurant General (Live entertainment with dancing)
license located at 4-484 Kuhio Highway, Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. The Commission
accepted Application No. 2020-073 for publication and public hearing on May 7, 2020
and ordered to print notice of public hearing in The Garden Island newspaper on
July 16, 2020

Wednesdays, May 27 & June 3, 2020, scheduling the public hearing on July 16, 2020 at
4:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter in Meeting Room #3 of the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Mo'ikeha

STREET BURGER: Application No. 2021-005 was filed on July 8, 2020 by Double

from Leikademus LLC dba Street Burger to Double Rainbow Inc. dba Street Burger
located at 4-369 Kuhio Highway, Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. Deposited $275.

DOUBLE RAINBOW INC.: Application No. 2021-006 was filed on July 8, 2020 by
Double Rainbow Inc. dba Street Burger for a temporary license located at 4-369 Kūhi‘ō
Highway, Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. Deposited $60.

Pursuant to Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §§92-4 and 92-5 (a) (4) the purpose of this executive
session is to consult with the Commission’s legal counsel on questions and issues pertaining
to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities as they may relate
to this item, deliberate and take such action as appropriate.

H.R.S. §92-5(a).
