The new deadline is Friday, April 23. To ensure that payment is made in full by April 23, taxpayers are highly encouraged to make installment payments leading up to that date. Property tax bills were recently mailed to all owners on record or to their respective mortgage institutions. A paperless billing option is also available to those who wish to access their bill electronically. Owners may register online by visiting the website located on their bill and by providing their unique “eDoc” code. Payments can be made online at https://kauairpt.ehawaii.gov, by mail, in person, or at a drop box located outside the Kapulē Building at the Līhu‘e Civic Center. Please make checks payable to the Director of Finance. No appointments are necessary to visit Real Property Collections, but access to the Kapulē lobby will be limited to no more than 10 people at any time in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
