Vaccine appointments available on Kaua‘i for kupuna 75+
The County of Kaua‘i is informing residents that vaccine appointments for kupuna aged 75 or
older are currently available at a number of locations on Kaua‘i, for first and second doses.
Earlier this year, some locations were fully booked or did not have vaccines available. Now
appointments are available to be booked. Only residents 75 or older are eligible at this time.
To sign up at one of these locations, please visit the websites below:
• Longs in Kapa‘a: https://www.cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine
• Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital (KVMH) in Waimea: https://kauai.hhsc.org/

Kupuna 75+ who are established patients at Ho‘ola Lahui can also schedule vaccine
appointments at their locations.

member can help you. If not, please call the Agency on Elderly Affairs at (808) 241-4470 and they can
help you to schedule your appointment on the websites. However, they cannot help if no appointments
are available or you are not yet eligible.
As of today, 21,000 doses of vaccine have been administered on Kaua‘i.
The State of Hawai‘i Department of Health has announced intentions to expand eligibility to
residents age 70 and older next month. Updates will be provided as more information becomes
available.
