Free mental health counseling now available for Kaua‘i residents of all ages
Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami is encouraging Kaua‘i residents to take advantage of free mental
health counseling now available by phone or videoconference.
WorkLife Hawai‘i counselors are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by
calling (808) 543-8445. These services are free and completely confidential.
“This pandemic is stressful for all of us,” said Mayor Derek Kawakami. “No shame. If you are
feeling anxious, worried, or overwhelmed, or simply would like to talk to someone, please take
advantage of this free service. Mahalo to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation for funding this program
and WorkLife Hawai‘i for providing the services.”
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, call WorkLife
Hawai‘i at (808) 543-8445 as soon as possible. Requests made as early as possible will allow adequate
time to fulfill your request. Upon request, this notice is available in alternate formats such as large print,
Braille, or electronic copy.
