DAHILIG, MANAGING DIRECTOR News Release For Immediate Release: March 12, 2021 COUNTY OF KAUA‘I KAUA‘I EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY ELTON USHIO, ADMINISTRATOR (808) 241-1800 Officials advising voluntary evacuation of houseless community at ‘Anini Beach Park; Kaua‘i Bus shuttle service, shelter available County of Kaua‘i officials advise members of the houseless community at ‘Anini Beach Park to voluntarily evacuate due to flooding in the area. The Kaua‘i Bus will be shuttling members of the houseless community to the Church of the Pacific in Princeville. The Kaua‘i Bus is mobilizing and will be making multiple rounds to individuals in need. The first round of shuttle service will begin at 1:45 p.m. For updates on road conditions and closures, please call 241-1725. Please do not call Kaua‘i police 911 unless you have an emergency. For weather updates call the National Weather Service automated weather line at 245-6001, or visit the NWS website, www.weather.gov/hawaii.
