Salvation Army ARC monthly donation event set for Friday, April 30
LĪHU‘E – The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) will be on-site at the Kaua‘i
Resource Center (KRC) located at 3460 Ahukini Road in Līhu‘e from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m on
Friday, April 30.
Residents, businesses, and other organizations can bring unwanted or unneeded items for
reuse, including clothing, small furniture, children’s toys, books, and shoes. Clothing and textiles do not
need to be in good condition. Torn or stained clothing is okay. Please do not bring eWaste, chemicals,
appliances, or broken items. We encourage the public to check with their local thrift stores to see if
they’re capable of taking donations before bringing items to the KRC.
While on-site, customers are requested to maintain social distancing, wear a mask, and follow
all ARC and County staff directions.
The ARC also offers pick-up services to thrift stores and businesses. Please call 241-4336 to
schedule a new service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, businesses not currently on the list will be added
for service in April. For individuals that would like home pick-up service, please contact Habitat for
Humanity Restore at 335-6105 or RP’s Random Closet 346-0020 (Note: RP’s Random Closet is a for-
profit agency).
