Online registration for Summer Fun program begins May 5
LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the county’s
Summer Fun will begin on May 5 at 8 a.m. is on the county’s website, https://www.kauairecreation.org.
The program runs from June 14 to July 23, on weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is
open to children 5 to 11 years old. There will be no programs on July 5, as County staff will oberserve
the Independence Day holiday.
Program sites include the Kīlauea, Kapa‘a, Anahola, Līhu‘e, Kalāheo, Hanapēpē, Waimea, and
Kekaha neighborhood centers.
Masks are required, and social-distancing guidelines will be observed.
The cost of enrollment is $50 per child, and includes lunch.
All major credit cards will be accepted for payment including American Express, Master Card,
VISA and Discover. In addition, debit and pre-paid credit cards will be accepted.
Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact Melanie
Okamoto at 241-4462 and mokamoto@kauai.gov as soon as possible. Requests made as early as
possible will allow adequate time to fulfill your request. Upon request, this notice is available in
