Lane closures scheduled for portions of Kapa‘a May 27 to June 2
The Department of Public Works announces that portions Kapa‘a will be closed May 27 to June 2
to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road resurfacing work on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,
weather permitting.
Road work is scheduled along Lehua Street, Niu Street, Huluili Street, Koa Street, Kauwila Street,
Kukui Street, and Inia Street in Kapa‘a.
One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be positioned to assist motorists
during these closures.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use
alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations.
