Water service shutdown scheduled for Kaulana Road, Kihei Road on June 23
KAPA’A- The Department of Water (DOW) announces a water service shutdown on Kaulana Road and a portion
of Kihei Road; from the intersection of Kihei Road and Kaulana Road to the north-end of Kihei Road, in Kapa’a
on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The 5-hour water service shutdown will allow DOW to conduct water line improvements on the Kapa’a water
system.
Customers located in the affected service area are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking
the following steps:
• Store water to meet their needs until water service can be restored.
• Share this service notice with neighbors, family and friends.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure their water heaters do not empty.
• Monitor water service updates for this shutdown on Facebook at www.facebook.com/KauaiDOW.
