Emergency sewer line cleaning on Kūhiō Highway in Hanamā‘ulu to be performed July
30
HANAMĀ‘ULU – The public is advised that there will be intermittent traffic control on Kūhiō
Highway in Hanamā‘ulu, from Kapaia Road to Nuku Street, on July 30, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
The closures are necessary to allow the Wastewater Management Division to perform
emergency work on the sewer line in the area.
Work will be performed on the mauka section of Kūhiō Highway, from Kapaia Road to Nuku
Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Southbound traffic on Kūhiō Highway will be shifted one
lane over to the left. Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as
needed.
