BLANE, CHIEF OF STAFF (808) 241-4900 New pop-up vaccine clinics include Keoki’s Paradise discount offer, Humane Society evening clinic The County of Kaua‘i is announcing more FREE pop-up vaccine clinic dates. Keoki’s Paradise Restaurant in Po‘ipū is offering a 20% discount for anyone who gets vaccinated at the restaurant this Thursday, July 8, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This clinic is open to everyone age 18 and older. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available. No appointment necessary; all walk-ins are welcome. Please bring a photo ID. For more information, call (808) 241-3495. The Kaua‘i Humane Society welcomes adults to get vaccinated at their headquarters outside of Līhuʻe after work on Friday, July 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. Additional pop-up clinics are coming to other parts of the island. Walk-ins will be accepted, but if you can, please register two days in advance to make sure they have enough doses. Westside: • Saturday, July 10: Kekaha Neighborhood Center. 8 to 10 a.m. Adults 18+. Central: • Saturday, July 10: Laukona Park in Hanamaulu. 1 to 2:30 p.m. Adults 18+.
