Free vaccine clinics coming to neighborhoods around Kaua‘i
LĪHUʻE – More free pop-up and mobile van vaccine clinics are open to everyone aged 12 and
older.
Kaua‘i Mobile Vaccine Clinic
The Kauai mobile vaccine clinic offers the Comirnaty vaccine (formerly known as Pfizer-
BioNTech) for ages 12 and older, the Moderna vaccine for ages 18 and older, and the Johnson & Johnson
single dose vaccine for ages 18 and older. No appointment is needed, walk-ins only. The van will return
to the same location four weeks later to administer 2nd doses of the Comirnaty (Pfizer) or Moderna
vaccine. Minors ages 12-17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will need to
sign a consent form for the minor being vaccinated.

• Hanapēpē Neighborhood Center: Friday, Sept. 3, noon to 3 p.m.
• Hanalei Neighborhood Center: Saturday, Sept. 4, noon to 3 p.m.
• Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center: Thursday, Sept. 9, noon to 3 p.m.
• Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center: Friday, Sept. 10, noon to 3 p.m.
• Wainiha Country Market: Saturday, Sept. 11, noon to 3 p.m.
The mobile vaccine clinic is a collaboration between the County of Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i Health
Systems Corporation and Wilcox Medical Center. For more information, visit

Hoʽōla Lāhui Pop-up Clinics
Free pop-up clinics operated by Hoʻōla Lāhui are open to ages 12 and older. They offer a choice
of the Comirnaty vaccine (formerly known as Pfizer-BioNTech) for ages 12 and older, the Moderna
vaccine for ages 18 and older, and the Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine for ages 18 and older. No
appointment is needed. Minors ages 12-17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Kaumakani Community Hall: Saturday, Sept. 4, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Anaina Hou Farmers Market: Saturday, Sept. 4, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Laukona Park: Saturday, Sept. 11, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Kekaha Neighborhood Center: Sept. 18, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Telephone assistance is also available from Hoʽōla Lāhui at (808) 938-0938. The County of Kaua‘i
thanks the Kauai District Health Office, Hoʽōla Lāhui, Wilcox Medical Center, and Hawai‘i Health Systems
Corporation for working together to offer these free clinics for Kaua‘i.

Pharmacies, Hospitals, and Clinics
Most clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies on Kaua‘i are also accepting walk-ins for a free vaccine
without an appointment. Most locations are closed on Labor Day, except for Walmart.
Comirnaty Vaccine (formerly known as Pfizer): Ages 12+

Request DOH Mobile Vaccine Van at your event
Businesses, organizations, and individuals can request a mobile vaccine van operated by the
Department of Health to offer free vaccines to adults 18+ at community gatherings and functions.

District Health Office on weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 241-3495.
