Grant funding opportunities available for community groups, and nonprofit
organizations
LĪHU‘E – The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, Life’s Choices Kaua‘i Program is offering
grant-in-aid for community groups and nonprofit organizations.
These grants will support various projects, programs or events aligned with drug prevention,
intervention, enforcement, treatment, recovery, harm reduction, and community integration
strategies.
“I encourage all eligible applicants to take advantage of this opportunity for financial assistance
to provide much-needed services to our community. Now, more than ever, our island home is
being devastated by substance use. Grant programs like this are critical to expand the options
available to our at-risk residents,” stated Acting Prosecuting Attorney, Rebecca Like.
Each applicant will be able to apply for up to $2,000 in grant funds. Eligibility requirements are
listed on the grant application. There is no deadline to apply; however, grants will be given on a
first-come first-serve basis.
To apply, visit the Life’s Choices Kaua‘i website at https://www.kauai.gov/lifeschoiceskauai
