Water service shutdown in Wailua Homesteads today, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
WAILUA - The Department of Water (DOW) announces an emergency water service shutdown and partial lane
closure on a portion of Kuamo‘o Road in Wailua Homesteads today, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.
Water service will be turned off on a portion of Kuamo‘o Road and to include Hie Street, Iliki Street, Molo Street
and Alahele Street, in order to conduct repairs to the mainline.
Additionally, a one-lane closure will be set in place on Kuamo‘o Road from Lihau Street to Molo Street. Flagger
personnel will be on site to assist with traffic flow.
An update will be provided if new information is received.
