Public Hearing on proposed amendments to Liquor Control rules set for Dec. 9
LĪHU‘E – The Liquor Control Commission of the County of Kaua‘i will hold a virtual Public Hearing
on Dec. 9, at 4 p.m., on proposed amendments to the Rules and Regulations of the Kaua‘i Liquor Control
Commission.
The proposed amendments involve generally the subjects of penalties, violations, digital
signatures, electronic filing, trade names, use of assessed penalties, manager cards and required
reports.
All interested persons who wish to present their testimony on Dec. 9, may do so via the
Microsoft Teams audio conferencing platform by calling 469-848-0234 and entering Conference ID #672
376 10#.
If you wish to participate via video teleconferencing, you may do so via the Microsoft Teams
video teleconferencing platform by entering the following link, https://bit.ly/3p5Paf3.
The full rules and a full copy of the Public Hearing notice are available at the Department of
Liquor Control in the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Moikeha Building, 4444 Rice Street, Suite 120, Līhu‘e, during
normal business hours, Monday to Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays.
The full copy of the rules and proposed amendments are also available on the Department of
Liquor Control website, www.kauai.gov/Liquor. Copies of the proposed amendments may also be mailed
to any interested person who calls the Department of Liquor Control at (808) 241-4699.
Written testimony may be submitted to the Department of Liquor Control by email to
liquor@kauai.gov, by facsimile to (808) 241-6585, or by mail to the Department of Liquor Control, 4444
Rice Street, Suite 120, Līhu‘e, HI 96766.
