F. COMMUNICATIONS:
1. C 2017-48 Communication (01/23/2017) from the Chief of Police, requesting
Council approval to receive and expend Federal funds for the
Statewide Marijuana Eradication Task Force (SMETF), in the
amount of $40,757.00, and the Hawai`i Narcotics Task
Force (HNTF), in the amount of $31,433.00, which will be used
to continue law enforcement efforts to reduce drug threats and
drug related crimes through agency collaboration; and approval
to indemnify the State of Hawaii Department of Attorney
General for the term commencing January 1, 2017 to
December 31, 2017.

requesting the presence of the State of Hawaii Employees'
Retirement System (ERS) Executive Director, to provide a
briefing on the State of Hawaii Employees' Retirement System
