1. Bill No. 2666 A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 7,
ARTICLE 1, KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO THE UPDATE OF THE GENERAL PLAN FOR
THE COUNTY OF KAUAI (ZA-2017-3)
(Deferred December 14, 2017) (Copies of the Draft Ordinance
for Zoning Amendment (ZA-2017-3) including the Commission's
Draft of the General Plan and Accompanying Appendices, on file
in the Office of the County Clerk.)
• The meeting will begin with an opportunity for public
testimony. Any person may offer verbal public testimony
one (1) time only, either:
o At the beginning of the meeting; or
o After amendments have been introduced and prior to
Councilmember voting.
• Following the initial opportunity for public testimony,
Councilmembers may proceed to introduce and discuss
amendments to Bill No. 2666 and Kaua`i Kakou - Kaua`i
County General Plan (Planning Commission Draft (June
2017)) and Appendices, as amended December 13-14, 2017.
• Following the second opportunity for public testimony
(available only for those who did not speak at the beginning
of the meeting), Councilmembers will vote on the
amendments and may introduce new or additional
amendments.
• The Committee may invite resource persons to offer
assistance at any point during this process.

A. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes (HRS) §92-7(a),
the Council may, when deemed necessary, hold an Executive Session on any agenda
item without written public notice if the Executive Session was not anticipated in
advance. Any such Executive Session shall be held pursuant to HRS §92-4 and shall
be limited to those items described in HRS §92-5(a). (Confidential reports on file at
the Office of the County Attorney and/or the Office of the County Clerk. Discussions
held in Executive Session are closed to the public.)
