JUNE 14, 2017
A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kaua`i was called to order by
Ross Kagawa, Vice Chair, Committee of the Whole, on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at
1:30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County
Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted:
Honorable Arthur Brun
Honorable Ross Kagawa
Honorable Arryl Kaneshiro
Honorable JoAnn A. Yukimura
Excused: Honorable Mason K. Chock
Honorable Derek S.K. Kawakami
Honorable Mel Rapozo
The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following:
"Bill No. 2650 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT FOR BARGAINING UNIT 11
BETWEEN JULY 1, 2017 AND JUNE 30, 2019,"
which was ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on May 17, 2017,
and published in The Garden Island newspaper on May 26, 2017.
The following communication was received for the record:
1. Hawai`i Fire Fighters Association, dated June 14, 2017
The hearing proceeded as follows:
SCOTT K. SATO, Deputy County Clerk: We received one (1)
testimony in support and have no registered speakers.
Council Vice Chair Kagawa: Is there anyone in the audience wishing to
testify on this? Seeing none, this public hearing is now adjourned.
There being no one present to testify on this matter, the public hearing
adjourned at 1:31 p.m.
