JUNE 13, 2019
A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kaua`i was called to order by
Luke A. Evslin, Chair, Finance & Economic Development Committee, on Thursday,
June 13, 2019, at 1:32 p.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201,
Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted:
Honorable Felicia Cowden
Honorable Luke A. Evslin
Honorable Ross Kagawa
Honorable Arryl Kaneshiro
Not Present: Honorable Arthur Brun
Excused: Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i
Honorable Mason K. Chock
The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following:
"Bill No. 2750 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTION 5A-5.1, KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO REAL PROPERTY TAX LIENS AND FORECLOSURES,"
which was ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on May 8, 2019,
and published in The Garden Island newspaper on May 14, 2019.
The following communication was received for the record:

The hearing proceeded as follows:

Evslin, we have one (1) piece of written testimony from the Kaua`i Board of Realtors
on the Bill.
Committee Chair Evslin: Do we have any registered speakers?
Ms. Fountain-Tanigawa: We have no registered speakers.
Committee Chair Evslin: Is there anyone in the audience wishing to
testify on this matter? Seeing none, this public hearing is now adjourned.
There being no one present to testify on this matter, the public hearing
adjourned at 1:33 p.m.
