MARCH 25, 2020
A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kaua`i was called to order by
Mason K. Chock, Chair, Planning Committee, on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at
11:21 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County
Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted:

Excused: Honorable Arthur Brun*
JADE K. FOUNTAIN-TANIGAWA, County Clerk: Please note that
today's public hearings will be called to order pursuant to the Governor's
Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated March 16, 2020.
The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following:
"Bill No. 2755—A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION
8-4.3(a), KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES NOT
INVOLVING THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND (Kauai County Council,
Applicant) (ZA-2020-5),"
which was ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on
February 19, 2020, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on
February 26, 2020.
The hearing proceeded as follows:
Ms. Fountain-Tanigawa: We have no written testimony that has been
submitted.
Committee Chair Chock: Thank you. I know we do not have anyone in
the audience. At this time, I will adjourn the public hearing for Bill No. 2755.

Cr. No. 20-00024-DKW (United States District Court), and therefore will be noted as
