Evslin, Chair, Finance & Economic Development Committee, on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at 8 47 a m , at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted Honorable Mason K. Evslin (via remote technology) Honorable Ross Kagawa Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i Honorable Arryl Kaneshiro Excused• Honorable Arthur Brun* JADE K FOUNTAIN-TANIGAWA, County Clerk Please note that today's public hearings will be called to order pursuant to Governor Ige's Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated March 16, 2020, Sixth Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated April 25, 2020, Seventh Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated May 5, 2020, Eighth Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated May 18, 2020, Ninth Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated June 10, 2020, and Tenth Supplementary Emergency Proclamation dated July 17, 2020 The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following "Bill No. 2795 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5A, KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY TAX (Mixed Use Tax Exemption)," which was ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on July 8, 2020, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on July 17 , 2020.
