Evslin, Chair, Finance & Economic Development Committee, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 9:02 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted: Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr. Honorable Mason K. Chock Honorable Felicia Cowden Honorable Bill DeCosta Honorable Luke A. Evslin (via remote technology) Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i Honorable Arryl Kaneshiro Council Chair Kaneshiro: Please note that we will run today's meeting pursuant to the Governor's COVID-19 Response Emergency Proclamation with the most recent relating to the Sunshine Law dated August 5, 2021. The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following: "Bill No. 2833 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, SECTION 17-1.1 KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS" which was passed on first reading and ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on August 18, 2021, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on August 31, 2021. The hearing proceeded as follows: (No written testimony was received and no registered speakers requested to testify regarding this agenda item.) Committee Chair Evslin: We have no registered speakers and we received no written testimony. Giving that, this Public Hearing is now adjourned.
