Portion of Anahola road closed to vehicular access until further notice
ANAHOLA – The Department of Public Works announces that a portion of Anahola Road is
closed to vehicular access until repairs can be made to a bridge located on Anahola Road, between
Pilikai Road and the entrance to Anahola Beach Park.
Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will still be allowed on the bridge.
Anahola Beach Park continues to be accessible via Kukuihale Road.
A consultant for the County of Kaua‘i recommends that the bridge is closed to motor vehicle
traffic until repairs to the bridge’s support system are completed. Updates will be given when more
information is available.
