CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL PUBLIC TESTIMONY APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: a) Open Session Minutes of October 28, 2020 BUSINESS : SC 2021-1 Discussion and decision-making on submitting a Salary Resolution to establish maximum salary caps for certain County officers and employees included in Section 3-2.1 of the Kauai County Code for Fiscal Year 2021/2022. General overview by the following Department Heads on their respective Departments: (a) Fire Chief Steven Goble (b) Police Chief Todd G. Raybuck (c) Director of Parks and Recreation Patrick Porter (d) Director of Public Works Acting County Engineer Troy Tanigawa SC 2021-2 Discussion and decision-making on the Commission’s future meetings for Calendar year 2021-2022. SC 2021-3 Election of Chair and Vice Chair for Calendar Year 2021-2022. PAGE 2 SALARY COMMISSION – JANUARY 27, 2021 EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. ("H.R.S.") §92-7(a), the Commission may, when deemed necessary, hold an executive session on any agenda item without written public notice if the executive session was not anticipated in advance. Any such executive session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S. §92-4 and shall be limited to those items described in H.R.S. §92- 5(a). ADJOURNMENT WRITTEN TESTIMONY Persons wishing to offer comments are encouraged to submit written testimony at least 24 - hours prior to the meeting and must indicate: 1. Your name and if applicable, your position/title and organization you are representing 2.
