September 21, 2022
A meeting of the Parks & Recreation / Transportation Committee of the
Council of the County of Kaua`i, State of Hawai`i, was called to order by
Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr., Chair, at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street,
Suite 201, Lihu`e, Kaua`i, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 3:36 p.m., after
which the following Members answered the call of the roll:
Honorable Felicia Cowden
Honorable Bill DeCosta
Honorable Luke A. Evslin
Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i
Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr.
Honorable Mason K. Chock, Ex-Officio Member
Honorable Arryl Kaneshiro, Ex-Officio Member
The Committee proceeded on its agenda item as shown in the following
Committee Report, which is incorporated herein by reference:
CR-PRT 2022-06: on PRT 2022-02 Communication 09/12/2022) from
Councilmember Cowden, requesting the
presence of the Director of Parks &
Recreation, to provide a briefing on the public
process and public notification on the choice
to remove the windward walls from a Hanalei
pavilion. (Received for the Record.)
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:57 p.m.
