A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kaua`i was called to order by
Mason K. Chock, Chair, Planning Committee, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at
8:30 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County
Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted:
Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr.
Honorable Mason K. Chock
Honorable Felicia Cowden
Honorable Bill DeCosta
Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i
Honorable Arryl Kaneshiro
Excused: Honorable Luke A. Evslin
The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following:
Bill No. 2860 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 8, KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
GUEST HOUSE (Kauai County Council,Applicant),"
which was passed on first reading and ordered to print by the Council of the County
of Kaua`i on September 7, 2022, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on
September 15, 2022.
Committee Chair Chock: Is there anyone in the audience or on Zoom
wishing to testify on Bill No. 2860? Not seeing or hearing anyone wanting to testify,
this public hearing is now adjourned.
There being no one present to testify on this matter, the public hearing
adjourned at 8:31 a.m.
