County internet down due to network and server outage
A mechanical issue overnight resulted in the outage of the county’s server and network. While
county phone service remains unaffected, there is no internet access and sporadic email service for all
county employees.
The public is advised that services at the Lihue Civic Center, such as DMV and other customer
service counters, may be down or delayed through today.
Calls to 911 and Police Dispatch are not affected by this server outage.
Officials are working to restore service and updates will be posted as information becomes
available.
