Lane closures scheduled for Hauiki Road in Kapa‘a Feb. 22 to Feb. 25
KAPAʻA – The Department of Public Works and DMK & Associates are announcing lane closures
for a portion of Hauiki Road, near the vicinity of Cane Haul Road and Olohena Road, in Kapa‘a from Feb.
22 to Feb. 25, weather permitting.
Work is scheduled as follows:
• Single-lane closure from Feb. 22 to Feb. 23, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
• Full road closure from Feb. 24 to Feb. 25, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The closures are necessary to allow cleaning, crack sealing, and slurry seal of the roadway.
During these closures, a temporary traffic detour route will be available through Waipouli Road.
Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays. Please exercise caution and drive
slowly when commuting through the work area. Should you have any questions or concerns, please
