Kaua‘i police seek help locating hit-and-run suspect
LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating the driver
of a hit-and-run incident.
On March 4 at approximately 1 p.m., a dark gray or black-colored Honda Ridgeline truck with
surf racks and an aftermarket logo on the driver door, struck a pedestrian in the Costco/Home Depot
parking lot.
The suspect driving the vehicle subsequently fled the scene.
The pedestrian, a 26-year-old Līhuʿe man, was treated at Wilcox Medical Center for non-life-
threatening injuries.
