KPD asks for public’s help identifying man in surveillance photo
LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man
captured on surveillance on Friday, April 21, 2023, on Kipuka Street, in Kōloa.
According to police, the man was captured on surveillance footage breaking into a vehicle and
attempting to break into another vehicle on Kipuka Street. KPD believes he is responsible for nine other
car break-ins on Kipuka Street on April 21.
It is unknown if any other subjects are involved with the vehicle break-ins at this time.
KPD detectives are actively investigating this case. Anyone with information on the identity of
the suspect or with information on these reported incidents is encouraged to contact KPD Dispatch at
