PORTER, DIRECTOR (808) 241-4460 Registration for Waimea summer swim classes takes place May 20 WAIMEA – Registration for summer swim classes will take place at 3 p.m., on Saturday, May 20, at the Waimea swimming pool, located at 9678 Haiki Road in Waimea. The program is open to children ages 5 to 11. Enrollment is limited to the first 20 students per class and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes will be held as follows: • Beginner Class, Session 1: June 1 to July 1 o Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday o Class 1 is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. o Class 2 is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. o Graduation is July 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. • Beginner Class, Session 2: July 6 to July 29 o Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday o Class is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. o Graduation is July 29, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. • Advanced Class, Session 2: July 6 to July 29 o Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday o Class is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. o Graduation is July 29, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact Graham Kovarik at 808-338-1271 and gkovarik@kauai.gov as soon as possible.
