Carvalho, Jr., Chair, Planning Committee, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 8:30 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted: Honorable Addison Bulosan Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr. Honorable Felicia Cowden Honorable Bill DeCosta Honorable Luke A. Evslin Honorable KipuKai Kuali'i Honorable Mel Rapozo The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following: "Bill No. 2893 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ZONING DESIGNATION IN LAWAI HOMESTEADS, KAUAI (Kurt Bosshard and Steven Absher, Applicants)," which was passed on first reading and ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on December 14, 2022, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on December 21, 2022. The following communication was received for the record: 1. Lundgren, Jack, dated January 9, 2023 Committee Chair Carvalho: Let the record reflect that we received one (1) piece of written testimony. Do we have any testifiers registered this morning? JADE K. FOUNTAIN-TANIGAWA, County Clerk: No one registered to testify. Committee Chair Carvalho: Given that there were no testifiers registered to speak, this public hearing is now adjourned.
