HomeMy WebLinkAbout03/08/2023 Public hearing minutes on BILL 2894 1 PUBLIC HEARING MARCH 8, 2023 A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kaua`i was called to order by Ross Kagawa, Chair, Finance & Economic Development Committee, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 8:35 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted: Honorable Addison Bulosan Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr. Honorable Felicia Cowden Honorable Ross Kagawa Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i Honorable Mel Rapozo Excused: Honorable Bill DeCosta The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following: "Bill No. 2894 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 17-1.1, KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS," which was passed on first reading and ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on February 8, 2023, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on February 15, 2023. Committee Chair Kagawa: Do we have anyone in the audience or on Zoom wishing to testify? JADE K. FOUNTAIN-TANIGAWA, County Clerk: We have no registered speakers. Committee Chair Kagawa: Given that there were no testifiers registered to speak, this public hearing is now adjourned.
