HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/24/2024 Public hearing mnutes on BILL 2920 PUBLIC HEARING APRIL 24, 2024 A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kaua`i was called to order by Mel Rapozo, Chair, Committee of the Whole, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 8:32 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted: Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr. Honorable Felicia Cowden Honorable Bill DeCosta Honorable Ross Kagawa Honorable Mel Rapozo Excused: Honorable Addison Bulosan Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following: "Bill No. 2920 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE 2, SECTION 5-2.6 KAUAI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO BEAUTIFICATION FEES," which was passed on first reading and ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kauai on March 27, 2024, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on April 3, 2024. JADE K. FOUNTAIN-TANIGAWA, County Clerk: Committee Chair, we have no registered speakers. Council Chair Rapozo: Is there anyone from the public wishing to speak on this? Seeing none, this public hearing is now closed. (Note: No one from the public testified on the Bill via written testimony or oral testimony taken at the beginning of the meeting via the Zoom remote technology platform.)
