HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/18/2024 Public Hearing minutes on BILL 2911 PUBLIC HEARING JANUARY 18, 2024 A public hearing of the Council of the County of Kauai was called to order by Ross Kagawa, Chair, Finance & Economic Development Committee, on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 8:39 a.m., at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu`e, and the presence of the following was noted: Honorable Addison Bulosan Honorable Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr. Honorable Felicia Cowden Honorable Bill DeCosta Honorable Ross Kagawa Honorable KipuKai Kuali`i Honorable Mel Rapozo The Clerk read the notice of the public hearing on the following: "Bill No. 2911— A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. B-2023-891, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2023 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2024, BY REVISING THE AMOUNTS ESTIMATED IN THE GENERAL FUND (Fire Engine #5, Kalaheo Replacement - $'1,000,000.00)," which was passed on first reading and ordered to print by the Council of the County of Kaua`i on December 6, 2023, and published in The Garden Island newspaper on December 13, 2023. Seeing none, this public hearing is now closed. (Note: No one from the public testified on the Bill via written testimony or oral testimony taken at the beginning of the meeting via the Zoom remote technology platform.)
