SUBJECT: JUNE 10, 2009 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
This is to inform you of the action taken by the Council at its June 10, 2009 Special
Council meeting and any follow-up that was requested:
C 2009-207 Communication (05/21/2009) from the Director, Office of
Economic Development, requesting Council approval to apply for, receive, and
expend a $20,000 grant from the Hawaii 501h Anniversary of Statehood Commission
to enhance the 50 Years of Hula program held at the Lihu`e Airport: Approved.
C 2009-208 Request (06/03/2009) from the Office of the County Attorney for
approval to expend funds up to $75,000 to pay for work done by special counsel
regarding Charter Amendments and other related matters: Approved.
