C 2007-228 Communication (05/09/2007) from the Chief, Engineering Division,
transmitting for Council action, a resolution authorizing the sale of
a portion of real property identified as TMK. (4) 4-4-04-08 portion
of old railroad right of way to the abutting landowners and
requiring said owners to convey a 1.3 foot wide strip of land along
Hauiki Road for road widening purposes (See Resolieti.ou No.
2007-80)
C 2007-224 Communication (05/10/2007) from the Chief, Engineering Division,
transmitting for Council action, a resolution establishing two (2)
speed hump installations on ( )pukea Street, Hanama ulu, Lihu e
District. (See Resolution No. 2007-81)
C 2007-225 Communication (05/18/2007) from the Director of Finance
transmitting for Council information, Period 10 Financial Reports-
Statement of Revenues As Of April 30 2007 (Detailed Budget
Report, Statement of Reueuues (Estimated and Actual), Statement of
Expenditures and Encumbrances, and Reueuue Report on file in the
County Clerk's Office)

C 2007-226 Communication (05/08/2007) from the Executive on Aging,
requesting Council approval to receive and expend State funds and
indemnify the State Executive Office on Aging for State funding of
$1 161 168 00 for KUPUNA CARE services which includes
homemaker personal care, chore home delivered meals adult clay
care transportation and case management from July 1 2007
through June.30 2009
C 2007-227 Conununication (05/24/2007) from the Solid Waste Program
Administrative Officer requesting Council approval to reallocate
funding budgeted for the Bulky Item Pickup program to fund
necessary costs of other solid waste projects and programs
CLAIMS.
C 2007-228 Conununication (05/31/2007) from the County Clerk, transmitting a
claim filed against the County of Kauai by Kauai Veterans Center
and Museum for plumbing expenses pursuant to Section 23 06
Charter of the County of Kaua i.

AS AMENDED RELATING TO THE CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF
KAUAI, STATE OF HAWAI I, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1 2006 THROUGH
JUNE 30 2007 BY REVISING THE SURPLUS AND APPROPRIATIONS

EXECUTIVE SESSION Pursuant to Haw Rev Stat. ("H.R.S §92-7(a) the
Council may when deemed necessary hold an executive session on any agenda
item without written public notice if the executive session was not anticipated in
advance Any such executive session shall be held pursuant to H.R.S §92-4 and
shall be limited to those items described in H.R.S §92-5(a) (Confidential reports on
file in the County Attorneys Office and/or the County Clerk s Office Discussions
held in Executive Session are closed to the public.)
ES-269 Pursuant to Haw Rev Stat. §§92-4 and 92-5(a)(4) the purpose of this
executive session is to consult with the Councils legal counsel on legal
questions and issues pertaining to the Councils powers duties
privileges immunities and liabilities regarding Bill No 2204 relating
to Single Family Transient Vacation Rentals and Bed and Breakfast
